♔ LITTLE MISS VAIN VEGETABLE SALAD. ♔

I don't know what's wrong with kids nowadays, or is it just me? Take note i'm talking about the girls, are more vain than their mothers! They are scared that who knows when they grow older they could be fat and might have a lot of wrinkles. I saw my daughter's face every time my skin gets dry. Trust me, you're going to hate that face, hahaha. Funny. The joy of motherhood. I'm referring to kids ages 3-10. Oh well i am including my daughter in that group of little vain kids. That's the reason why she came up with this healthy snack, ill share it with you guys.

- whole kernel corn
- carrots [diced]
- lettuce [a lot!]
- tomatoes /cherry tomatoes
- green peas
- hard boiled quail eggs
- cheese [diced and parmesan]
- salt [just a little]
- white onion
- cucumber [if you want :P]
- and salad dressing of your choice; Ranch, French, 1000 Island, Green Goddess, Italian, Caesar, Honey Mustard and a lot more.

*just mix them all together but make sure they look good! [that came up with a wink and high five from my daughter :P]

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.

CAMAYAN BEACH RESORT, Subic Bay, Philippines

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful weekend getaway, I could really say that CAMAYAN BEACH RESORT is the perfect place for the whole family and couples as well. My family and I stayed in there for 3 days and we really did enjoy every minute of it.
From the front desk to the hotel staffs, I could give them two thumbs up. They were very pleasant and polite to us.
We checked in at room (1217) facing the beach. The room is clean and the bathroom is decent. The bed covers and the pillows smell good.  Just sitting at the patio looking at the beach, feeling the wind touching our face, smelling the salt water is soothing and very relaxing.
Oh and the beach is great and clean! Amazingly beautiful! The sand is super fine and almost white! Just typing this makes me want to go back there and lay down on the sand all day.
Camayan is far from everywhere, like 40-45 minutes to the city proper. But of course they have restaurants inside the resort and the foods are great! We went to The Reef restaurant, I like it there better because it is facing the beach.
By the way the whole place has WiFi so even if you're far from the city, you could still keep in touch with your friends. I was even on my Facebook while laying down on the sand!

Camayan Beach Resort is located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, formerly the largest US Naval base outside the United States.

My daughter loves the beach.

She fell in love with the place like i do.

  The fine sand.

Cool water.

 The blue sky.

I love it when my legs could touch the water and the sand,
it has cooling effect that makes me feel so relaxed.

God made all the things beautiful.

I love writing names on the sand.

She doesn't want to go home yet.

       God made this earth so beautiful, I can't thank Him enough and I feel so extremely happy just staring at His creations that I could cry.  Let us be thankful and be glad on His abundant blessings to us and learn how to take care of these. I want to share this with you;

Nehemiah 9:6 - You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you. (NIV)

Jeremiah 2:7 - I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit and rich produce. But you came and defiled my land and made my inheritance detestable. (NIV)

Psalm 96:10-13 - Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns." The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity. Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth. (NIV)

SHARING is GIVING. ♥

Last time when my daughter and I went to the mall, she stopped by the toy shop to buy a coin bank. Waiting for her just outside the door, wondering what would she do with it since it's her summer vacation. And during summer and christmas vacations, I'm not giving her allowance but she could ask anytime for some money if she wants to buy something she wants. Then after she paid for it, I finally got the chance to ask what was the coin bank is for.

"I need this to save money. I'm not in hurry mama, I could wait for my own allowance when my school starts and put some of it in this coin bank. And its not for myself, I'm going to fill this up with a lot of coins and bills, and few months from now, on Christmas, I will be so glad to put a ribbon on it and give this to the first street children I am going to see on that day when we go out." smiling big as she explains it all to me.

That quick trip to the mall made me realize one thing; we don't need to be rich to be able to help somebody. Anything we have right now, big or small, a lot or a little, could be of help to someone in need. No certain amount. Just give.

Me and my daughter are really hoping that people would feel in their hearts the essence of sharing and giving. For every little small thing that we give... could be money, clothes, food....anything there is BIG smile we could get from it in return.

So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up. (6:10) So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who belong to the family of faith. -Galatians 6:9-10

I AM HAPPY THAT I HAVE GOD BY MY SIDE IN ALL MY TROUBLES... :) ♥

  • "Do not be afraid—I am with you! I am your God—let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you & save you."Isaiah 41:10

BLESSED WITH THE BEST. ♥

I am thinking of my husband right now and how wonderful he is. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I couldn't ask for more.  ♥

A SIMPLE SURPRISE. ♥

My husband is living overseas right now. But he never fails to make me smile by doing a lot of things for me. Sends me a lot of e-mails and texts. He sings and dances for me through Skype! And his constant 'I love you's' that melt my heart. Most of all, the time that he spends with me.

He knows that I love it when he draws. (I am the number one fan!) Or when he just writes my name anywhere--- yes anywhere! Wall, empty plastic containers, wood scraps... any kinds of papers.... I could go on...

One day we had a terrible fight and it really made me sad. I feel like he's not doing anything for us. Then mister postman just popped out of the door saying, "Whoever made you sad... he's the one who could make you smile." and handed me down a brown envelope.

Indeed, the one who I had a long day of discussion and argue with, is the same one who could make me smile by a simple surprise. Oh how I love my husband. C(:

And few of the many drawings he made for me. c(:
